AUDITING
Do regulatory audits give you sleepless nights? Would you like to dive into the next one with a calm and confident mind?

Do you feel that you are doing everything you can to prepare for regulatory audits, but the Authority uncovers several non-compliances every time nevertheless?

We will prepare your organization for regulatory audits. During a preliminary audit, we will uncover the hidden problems and propose solutions – before the Authority would do the same.

In case you don’t have enough capacity, we can perform your organization’s internal audits as well – in a way that they will be more than just “excess paperwork”.
Regulatory audits often raise serious concerns in the management personnel of pilot training organizations and aircraft operators. This is because they are mostly aviation experts who have extensive experience in their own fields, but find it much more difficult to navigate the maze of legal requirements. Since they usually only have to participate in such audits once or twice a year, they do not have much experience in this area either. A failed regulatory audit, however, may have serious consequences for the organization. To avoid this, a preliminary audit and preparation performed by a consultant with extensive auditing experience can be an effective solution. After all, it is better to solve the problems before the regulatory audit than afterwards, at the request of the Authority, and perhaps under the pressure of coercive measures.

Conducting annual internal audits is usually a hassle for these organizations and is considered "unnecessary paperwork" by many. Therefore, these internal audits are usually not very effective. They don’t reveal the problems, and therefore neither contribute to the development and improved efficiency of the organization, nor to its better performance during regulatory audits – even though a properly performed internal audit can help a lot in both.
In addition to demonstrating compliance with the regulatory requirements, auditing can also significantly contribute to making the organization more efficient and achieving trouble-free operation in the long run. This can reduce operational risks and managers’ stress levels, and can also increase business efficiency. Therefore, it may make sense to outsource these internal audits to an experienced external auditor. After all, such an auditor has much more auditing experience and often notices problems more easily than the organization's own employees who live with them on a daily basis.

Our audit procedures enable us to identify and eliminate bottlenecks and vulnerabilities that may adversely affect regulatory approvals, compromise aviation safety, and pose significant financial or reputational risks.

Examples:

  • Preparation for and supporting regulatory audits
  • Performing internal compliance and safety audits (outsourcing)
